We love the live performances put on by the Buddy Club.  The exhibits are also terrific.  This is very close to the house - either a long walk or a short ride.

Here it is.  A cab or limo ride takes about 10 minutes.  The N Judah also stops close by (it is the Civic Center stop).  This is off Van Ness.

We honestly are not in touch all that happens after we go sleep but we have a link here to help you out if you are wondering what some options are:  http://www.yelp.com/c/sf/nightlife

Comedy Venues 04/27/2008

We get 'em all sooner or later and of course San Francisco is home to Robin Williams who will occasionally try out new material before us locals as he did in 2001 at a time when we all needed to laugh again.

The Punchline and Cobb's Comedy are the staples of the town but there is always more and here is a helpful link http://www.yelp.com/c/sf/comedyclubs

San Francisco has plenty for music lovers.  Live music and concerts are scheduled regularly at:

The Fillmore
The Warfield
The BoomBoom Room (of John Lee Hooker fame)
Golden Gate Park has several different concert series
The Masonic Center features musicians and comedy acts (Van Morrison comes to town every year between Christmas and New Years)
