We love the live performances put on by the Buddy Club.  The exhibits are also terrific.  This is very close to the house - either a long walk or a short ride.

Kids' Symphony 04/27/2008

The symphony also caters to kids - and the kids really love it.  Check out the schedule of events.

Here it is.  A cab or limo ride takes about 10 minutes.  The N Judah also stops close by (it is the Civic Center stop).  This is off Van Ness.

Two tops picks close by are (in order of proximity):
1. Grattan Playground (about 6 blocks away at Stanyan and Grattan)
2. Children's Playground at Golden Gate Park (see park map)

Other playgrounds close by that we like alot:
Rossi Playground (Arguello and Anza near USF)
Julius Kahn Playground (in the Presidio)

The closest stop is Stanyan and Carl.

There are a couple bike rental places close to the house.  This is a wonderful way to tour Golden Gate Park.  You could also bike through the Presidio and out across Golden Gate Bridge if you are up for a longer bike trip.

Night Life 04/27/2008

We honestly are not in touch all that happens after we go sleep but we have a link here to help you out if you are wondering what some options are:  http://www.yelp.com/c/sf/nightlife

Comedy Venues 04/27/2008

We get 'em all sooner or later and of course San Francisco is home to Robin Williams who will occasionally try out new material before us locals as he did in 2001 at a time when we all needed to laugh again.

The Punchline and Cobb's Comedy are the staples of the town but there is always more and here is a helpful link http://www.yelp.com/c/sf/comedyclubs
