IMPORTANT NOTE: When you click the "CALL ME!" button you enter the phone number that you want me to call you on and type in your name (or a better example "...'John' calling about your guest home"). Don't enter your number unless you want to talk right now and it is between 9 and 9 pacific time. Sorry, I have not yet set this up to work for calls originated outside the United States.
Spend the day visiting historical landmarks like the world famous Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz Island and Golden Gate Bridge, eating at beautiful restaurants like The Cliff House. Shop at world-famous Union Square and thousands of local boutique stores. Hit the San Francisco Giants or a 49ers game.
San Francisco has both urban culture and natural beauty - check out the brand new DeYoung Museum in Golden Gate Park, the Legion of Honor reigns over the Presidio and the Pacific Ocean and the Museum of Modern Art stands across from the downtown Yerba Buena Garden oasis. The Academy of Sciences is set to re-open in Golden Gate Park in November 2008.
Dramatic performance art also has a historical hold on San Francisco and the city consistently attracts top touring acts to its vibrant theatre scene. There is also a San Francisco festival or event for every season, culture and cause imaginable, including Hardly Stictly Blue Grass, Chinese New Year, Oktoberfest, fireworks, and theatre.
San Francisco International Airport's new international terminal is North America's largest, while San Francisco itself features some of the most charming and sophisticated public transportation systems in the world, including the Muni, BART, historic cable cars and ferry systems linking the entire Bay Area.
San Francisco is also a terrific place to plan your wedding and wedding reception. Consider The Presidio - there are multiple churches, plenty of parking and wonderful reception areas indoor and outdoor.Plan a visit to Monterrey, Marin, Napa, Sonoma, Calistoga, Sausalito, Angel Island, Yosemite, or Muir Woods.
